The system contributes to the reduction of GHG emissions and the utilization of CO₂ by separating and recovering CO₂ from factory boilers, etc. In July 2023, we started a demonstration test using boiler exhaust gas from our own factory. Nitto are conducting comprehensive research from material design of gas separation membranes to system demonstration, with the aim of realizing a decarbonized society.

Through joint research with overseas academia, we have established unique CO₂ conversion catalyst technology. We start an initiative to produce formic acid from biomass-derived CO₂ for the introduction of negative emission systems in the livestock industry.

Recovering solvent components from solvent effluent from factories contributes to reducing the amount of effluent and refining energy. We are currently conducting in-house demonstrations of this technology.
