On July 14, 2018, Nitto Matex (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in an activity to protect the mangrove forests, with 105 people, including the families of employees, planting trees. At the same time, donations from the employees were also delivered to assist the organizer in their support of elderly people who live alone.

On April 5, 2019, Korea Nitto Optical Co., Ltd. planted 30 cornelian cherry trees on company grounds. April 5 is “Sikmogil” (Korean Arbor Day). The trees are intended to reduce CO₂ emissions and purify the air, and the activity is planned to continue until 2021.

Nitto Bento Bantcilik San. ve Tic. A.S. made a donation to the TEMA Foundation* jointly with customers. The TEMA Foundation works to combat soil erosion and for reforestation and the protection of natural habitats, and the donation will be used to hold tree planting education activities for children.
