Nitto Group's RO membranes for ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) applications achieve a 63% reduction in CO₂ emissions in wastewater
treatment compared to traditional evaporation methods. These membranes enable efficient wastewater reuse, contributing to water
resource circulation and energy savings, and are increasingly being adopted for various applications.
In recent years, as environmental pollution and water scarcity due to increased wastewater discharge from factories have become global issues, some countries and regions are tightening regulations and restrictions on wastewater discharge. RO membranes for ZLD
applications offer superior antifouling properties and high-pressure treatment compared to standard RO membranes, providing optimal membrane technology solutions for increasingly complex and diverse wastewater treatment requirements.
