Nitto supports activities conducted in Japan by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) as a supporting member of the Japan Association for UNEP.
UNEP is an acronym for the United Nations Environment Programme, and is an organization, founded in 1972, which aims to promote sustainable development through proper worldwide environmental efforts. In an attempt to realize a sustainable society, UNEP works together with such organizations as international institutions, governments, NGOs and companies.
