Mr. Sam Strijckmans – President & CEO
Sam Strijckmans is currently President & CEO of Nitto EMEA and Executive Vice President of Nitto Denko Corporation. Based in Leuven, Belgium, Sam takes the responsibility for the EMEA regional management.
From 2014 to 2016 he was Corporate Vice President Finance & Accounting based in Osaka and responsible for global finance projects such as global cash management. From 2012 to 2014 he was Executive Director & Vice Chairman of the Board of Nitto Bento, the N° 1 Hygienic & Industrial Tape company in Turkey, acquired by Nitto in June 2012. He was leading the acquisition process and was subsequently responsible for the post merger integration and execution of the emerging markets growth strategy for Middle East and North Africa. From 2004 until 2012 he was stationed in Genk, Belgium, as Chief Financial Officer of Nitto Belgium. Prior to his career within the Nitto Group he spent 7 years with Solutia Inc., the chemical spin off of Monsanto Corporation which was acquired by Eastman Chemicals in July 2012, where he held various finance assignments of increasing responsibility in Belgium, Canada and Switzerland. His first professional assignment was in audit with KPMG Belgium.

Mr. Kenshi Tozuka – Transformation Projects Director EMEA
Kenshi Tozuka is currently Transformation Projects Director EMEA. He started his career at Nitto in 1996 within the Accounting department at the HQ in Japan. He accepted an international assignment at Nitto Belgium between 2006 and 2010. After returning to Japan he had several functions within finance, accounting and corporate planning with growing responsibilities.

Mr. Jürgen Schneider, non-resident director
Jürgen Schneider has more than 30 years of experience in various technology companies. He started his career after studying chemical engineering at Philips in the field of displays. After a short period in R&D, he moved to the area of manufacturing excellence and coordinated the global coating process improvements. Later, he managed a project for the start-up of a new production facility in the U.S. In 1998, Juergen joined the glass manufacturer SCHOTT AG and managed the production for the display glass division. In 2006, Juergen moved to the Optical Glass Business Unit and in 2007, as VP Global Operations, he took over the division's production network with plants in Germany, Switzerland, the USA and Malaysia. From 2015, Juergen had overall responsibility for the Personal Care Components business unit at Mondi Group, which was sold to Nitto Denko in 2022. Since the acquisition, Juergen has been COO Advanced Films Solutions and additionally took over the position of COO EMEA from April 1, 2023.

Mr. Daisuke Uno, director
Mr. Daisuke Uno started his career in the Nitto Group in 1998 within the sales department. He was marketing manager for Consumer Electronics, Mobile and Automotive market at Nitto Denko Hong Kong for 8 years after which he returned to Japan to take up several functions with increasing responsibility. In 2022 he moved to Germany to take up the function of Director EMEA Business Sector.

Mr. Kenjiro Asuma, non-resident director
Mr Asuma started his career in Sales in Japan in 1995. In 1999 he accepted an international assignment in Taiwan working as Sales & Marketing General Manager. He returned to Japan in 2007 and has been active in strategic planning for the Business Sector, management as head of corporate strategic planning, and also as Chief Procurement Officer. In 2021 he received an international assignment in EMEA region and is currently operating a business division and managing an area of business in Europe.

Mr. Steven Bruninx, director
Steven Bruninx became Director Corporate Strategy & Legal Affairs of Nitto EMEA NV in 2017 after holding various legal positions in the Nitto organization since 2008. His activity is focused on Risk management and Mid-term planning of the Nitto organisation in the EMEA region. In relation to mid-term planning he seeks to address Nitto EMEA’s challenges in terms of growth, digitalization and sustainability. After studying Law at the Universities of Leuven, Antwerp (BE) and Lund (SE), he worked as a lawyer-trainee and legal consultant for Deloitte. He concurrently held positions as a guest lecturer at the universities of Leuven and Brussels. From 2010 to 2012, he was a guest professor at the University of Vietnam.
